Richard Chamberlain is the founder and managing attorney of Chamberlain Law Group. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Michigan.
As an attorney, Richard’s passion is helping his clients make the best possible choices for themselves and their loved ones. He understands that everyone has different planning needs and goals, and everyone has their own unique family and financial situations. When he’s working with his clients, he wants them to have a solid understanding of the issues involved in making an effective estate plan. He spends a lot of time teaching his clients the things they need to know to make their plan meet their planning needs and goals. In his educational seminars and in his consultations with his clients, he teaches the fundamental issues involved so that they can understand and determine not only what type of plan to use, but also why it’s the best plan for them.
Richard’s first book, Protecting your Family – All about Wills, Trusts & Probate, was published in September of 2020. You can get a free copy of the book here.
After working at different law firms in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio, Richard founded the Chamberlain Law Group in 2007 and focuses on serving clients primarily in estate planning and estate administration matters. He also assists clients with real estate transaction and with business formation and business succession planning.
Richard is a member of WealthCounsel, a cooperative alliance of estate planning attorneys from across the country. He stays active in our community as a member of The Toledo Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals, The Rotary Club of Perrysburg, and he serves in several ministries at CedarCreek Church. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA in 1989 and his law degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL in 1992.
