Tim Alley joined Legacy Law Group in 2012 after working with a few other firms and as a sole practitioner. He has been in practice since 2001 after graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law. Since starting his practice Tim has focused on Estate Planning, with a special emphasis on Elder Law and Long Term Care Planning.
He very much enjoys the interaction with clients and their families as well as the design and drafting of the needed documents. After taking time to listen to his client’s needs and goals, Tim then works to educate his clients on the different options available to them to meet their goals. Education on not only the what but also the why is important to allow his clients to feel confident in the planning process. Tim enjoys providing comfort and confidence to his clients as they learn the what of planning as well as why a particular plan and process is right for them.
Tim served in the Army National Guard from 1990-1996 and then received an honorable discharge. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio in 1993 and married his beautiful wife Michelle in 1998. They live in South Toledo with their two boys. Michelle homeschools the boys and wrangles their dog Marlee. They all enjoy board games and movies and are involved in their church and community. Serving on the boards for the Hunt Senior Center and Water for Ishmael as well as volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association allows Tim to give back to his community.
