Richard Chamberlain is the founder and principal attorney of Chamberlain Law Group. He created the law firm in 2007 after having worked at law firms in Maumee, Ohio, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Tampa, Florida.
Richard’s law practice is devoted to assisting his clients in areas of estate planning, estate administration, business planning and formation, and real estate transactions. His passion is teaching the families he serves about the issues they are facing and about their options in meeting their needs and goals, and then helping them design the best plans to meet those needs and goals.
Richard is a member of WealthCounsel, a cooperative alliance of nationally recognized estate planning attorney members from across the country. as well as being a member of the Wood County Bar Association. He stays actives in our community as a member of The Rotary Club of Perrysburg, the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce, the Rossford Business Association, the Board of the Perrysburg Schools Foundation, and he serves in several ministries at CedarCreek Church.
Richard earned his undergraduate degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Tulane University in New, Orleans, LA (1989) and received his law degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL (1992).
When he’s not being a lawyer, Richard loves spending time with his family. He’s been married to his wife Kelly since 1994, and they have 4 daughters, one son-in-law, and 1 granddaughter (so far). They enjoy spending time together swimming, playing golf and tennis, riding horses, watching movies, traveling, and serving in their local church.
